Senator for La Altagracia province, Amable Aristy Castro says he has sent his resignation from the PRSC to party president Federico Antun Batlle. Diario Libre and Listin Diario report on speculation that Aristy will seek the presidential candidacy for La Estructura, the political party founded by Andres Vanderhorst. La Estructura has allied with the PRSC and the PLD in past elections.
