The Metropolitan Transport Authority (AMET) and the National Police will meet with the local transport association representatives tomorrow, Thursday 5 February 2015 to continue to discuss and organize transport routes.
AMET director Pablo Arturo Pujols said that they have taken measures in some areas, such the bustling commercial intersection between Duarte and Paris avenues, but there has been a problem for years and now is the time to sort out other areas.
He said that there was a lack of organization and traffic problems, especially with street vendors, but where the situation has been resolved and the vendors have been removed the traffic flows more smoothly.
