A Rome museum is holding a photography exhibition in preparation for the 2015 Expo Milano that opens in October. The photography exhibition curated by award-winning photographer Pedro Genaro Rodriguez is free and open to the public daily from 9:30am to 7:30pm at the Museo del Vittoriano (Ala Brasini, Via San Pietro in Carcere). The exhibition will present extraordinary landscapes that will be part of the visuals at the Dominican pavilion at Expo Milano.
The Dominican Republic exhibit proposal for Expo Milano is based on the rural development model promoted by President Danilo Medina’s government, which has been commended by the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO). The pavilion will show visitors a Dominican Republic that is well known for being an exporter of high-quality organic products and for its world famous attractions as a tourist and investment destination.
The opening is on Thursday, 26 February at 6pm. The Mayor of Rome Ignazio Marino has confirmed his attendance. The Commissioner general of the Dominican Republic for Expo Milano 2015, Ambassador Mario Arvelo, is coordinating the event. Expo Milano will be open from 1 May to 31 October 2015 in Milan.
