Minister of Public Health Altagracia Guzman Marcelino received a donation of 80 ambulances estimated to be worth RD$260 million to be used in the National Emergency System (911) yesterday, Tuesday 3 March 2015.
Taiwanese Ambassador Tomas Ping Fu Hou handed over the donation. Vice Minister of the Presidency Zoraima Cuello who is also the spokesperson for the 911 service and Public Health Deputy Minister Hector Quezada, national director of emergencies and disasters at the Ministry of Public Health were also present.
