The trial of 14 people accused of transporting 700 kilos of cocaine and who have been held in pretrial detention for two years, including two French pilots, was suspended yesterday, Monday 9 March 2015 when prosecutor Milciades Guzman asked for two of the judges to be replaced as according to a journalist from the French press, they are believed to have links with two of the accused and would not be impartial. The Appeals Court now has two weeks to decide whether to accept or reject the accusation and to set a new date for the trial, with or without different judges.
