The Dominican Free Zones Association (Adozona) has chosen Jose Tomas Contreras of Zona Franca Itabo for the role of chairman of the leading industrial free zone organization from 2015 to 2017.
In his acceptance speech, Contreras highlighted how the sector has registered a recovery after the bad years of the 2000s when Chinese imports dominated the markets.
The other board members are Miguel Lama, first vice president, Ricardo Perez, second vice president, Jose Clase, third vice president, and Eduardo Bogaert, secretary.
