The regional consultations being carried out by the government to finalize the National Electricity Sector Reform Pact will start this week in Santiago on Wednesday 18 March 2015 and then in the National District on Friday 20 March.
All citizens are invited to take part, either in person or via the web page www.pactoelectrico.do
The National Pact for the Reform of the Electricity Sector was set in motion in January and following the regional and online consultations it is expected to reach a consensus as to how to move forward from 2015 to 2030 in terms of the generation, transmission and distribution of electricity as well as considering the consumers and finance.
