According to National Police spokesman Jacobo Mateo Moquete, Brigadier General Hector Garcia Cuevas has been appointed as Regional Director of Cibao Central for the National Police based in Santiago, taking over from Brigadier General Olivence Minaya.
Mateo Moquete also said via Twitter that Police Chief, Major General Manuel Castro Castillo, would be travelling to Santiago today, Tuesday 17 March 2015 to hand over the reins to Garcia Cuevas who will take charge of several ongoing criminal cases in the city.
