The United States Embassy has announced that the competition for the award of a Fulbright scholarship will open on 1 May 2015. The scholarships are for masters or postgraduate study programs in the United States. Application forms are available on the academic section of the embassy website: (www.embajadausa.gov.do).
There are three different options for the program: for independent candidates, which is any area apart from medical, dental or nursing residencies, for university professors and academics and the MESCYT program that is supported by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Technology and is 10 scholarships in Technology, Science, Engineering, Economics, Transport, Cinema. Art, Public Administration, English as a Second Language, Education, Agriculture and Veterinary Science.
