President Danilo Medina has appointed Pedro Luis Castellanos as the new Superintendent of Health and Labor Risks (Sisalril) in Decree 78-15. Castellanos replaces Fernando Caamano. In the same decree, President Medina designated Lidio Cadet as the Presidency’s Special Programs director, replacing Castellanos.
A medical doctor by profession, Castellanos is also a social and public health research specialist. He served as an official of the United Nations and the World Health Organization and Pan-American Health Organization for 20 years.
