The Alianza Pais political party with Guillermo Moreno as its candidate for the Presidency has announced a series of campaign activities starting in New York on Sunday 29 March 2015 followed by meetings in the states of New Jersey and Massachusetts. The expatriate vote is key to the presidential election in 2016.
As reported in El Nuevo Diario, a party delegation will be holding a meeting in New York at 2pm at 1545 Av. St. Nicholas and 187th Street. AP national board and electoral commission member Rolando Bautista has traveled to New York for the event.
The events in New Jersey will take place in Patterson, Passaic and North Bergen, while the Massachusetts meeting will be held in Lawrence.
According to the latest Gallup poll, Alianza Pais candidate Guillermo Moreno has 25% support, while the Greenberg poll had him at 15%, making him the strongest minority party candidate.
