Avoid the intersection between Leopoldo Navarro and 27 de Febrero avenues if you can over the next weeks. The Ministry of Public Works (MOPC) has begun construction on a return at the intersection to ease traffic flow at this point. The return will be built on the west side of the intersection under the 27 de Febrero overpass across from the Caribe Tours bus station.
The plan is to ease eastbound traffic flow for vehicles returning on 27 de Febrero or heading to Miraflores. Brazilian company Odebrecht is implementing the works.
Traffic will be reduced to one lane in both directions.
The Ministry of Public Works recently completed similar works at the intersections between Av. John F. Kennedy and Ortega Gasset and John F. Kennedy and Tiradentes and Lope de Vega avenues.
