The El Soberano Awards ceremony, sponsored by Presidente Beer and honoring the best in the performing arts in the Dominican Republic takes place at 8:30pm this evening, Tuesday 14 April 2015 at the National Theater in Santo Domingo. Prior to the event Telemicro, Channel 5, will begin the red carpet interviews at 7pm. This year, the Dominican Republic’s only Miss World, Mariasela Alvarez, and comedian Cuquin Victoria will be the hosts.
