President Danilo Medina was in San Pedro de Macoris on Tuesday, 15 April 2015 for the formal opening of a day care center and elementary school in El Brisal. The bishop of San Pedro de Macoris Francisco Ozoria attended the event. Speaking at the dedication ceremony, Special Programs director Lidio Cadet said: “This work is not only Danilo Medina’s but of the entire Dominican nation that acts as one.”
