Xerox continues to invest in its customer care division with a most recent expansion of a third call center in Santo Domingo that will employ more than 400 agents. The new installation covers an area of 4,856m? and joins other call centers in the Herrera Industrial Zone and in San Isidro.
These call centers support Xerox clients in the United States and Canada.
“The Dominican Republic has an important role in our global capacity for customer care,” said Robert Zepfel, the president of Xerox Services.
“The proximity of the island to the United States as well as a well-educated labor force that is fluent in Spanish, English and French makes this an ideal place to provide our customer care.”
Zepfel told reporters that Xerox is recruiting personnel for the new installations and openings in their other service centers and will be represented at the Expo-Empleo at the Santo Domingo Hilton on the 29th and 30th of April.
