Youth symphony at the National Music Conservatory

The Juan Pablo Duarte Symphony Orchestra, conducted by maestro Dante Cucurrullo will be playing four free concerts in Santo Domingo with solos by violinists Veronica Vargas, Scarlett Martinez, pianist Jhonny Mora and oboist Ivan Benitez.

The program includes music by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Felix Mendelssohn, Henryk Wieniawski, Sergei Prokofiev, Leonard Bernstein, Aaron Copland, Alberto Ginastera and Dominicans Bienvenido Bustamante and Margarita Luna.

The free concerts by the youth symphony are scheduled for Friday, 23 April, 14 and 28 May and 11 June 2015 at 8pm at the National Music Conservatory’s Juan Francisco Garcia Hall.
