The United States Customs and Border Protection (CBP) service says that its agents recently seized 43.2 kilos of cocaine in San Juan port, inside a container that had arrived from the Dominican Republic.
CBP reported that a container was selected for secondary scrutiny during an inspection of containers on board a cargo vessel, Conti Elektra. Inside, CBP officers found two duffel bags with 41 bricks that subsequently tested positive for cocaine, with an estimated street value of US$1,123,000.
