President Danilo Medina hosted a visit from the governor of St. Martin, Eugene Holiday at the Presidential Palace yesterday, Tuesday 28 April 2015.
Governor Holiday, who was on a courtesy visit, was accompanied by the ambassador of the Netherlands in the Dominican Republic, Marijke A. Van Drunen Little. St. Martin cabinet director Andre Hoeneveld and the trade attache at the Netherlands embassy, Rainier Davina were also at the meeting.
Eugene Holiday was appointed to the post of first governor of St. Martin by the Council of Ministers in the Netherlands in September 2010, and took office on 10 October that same year.
