Banco de Reservas has announced an agreement with Xoom for electronic transfers of remittances from 31 countries. BanReservas general administrator Enrique Ramirez Paniagua and Xoom vice president for Latin America and the Caribbean, Gene Nigro, signed the agreement.
In the Dominican Republic, Xoom works with the Ademi, Adopem, Agricola, BDA, BDI, BHD, Progreso, Empire, Lopez de Haro, ScotiaBank, Popular, Promerica, Santa Cruz and Vimenca banks, as well as with the Cibao, Duarte, La Nacional and Popular savings and loans associations.
