In an announcement on Thursday 7 May 2015, the Embassy of Haiti in Santo Domingo says that student visas are required for anyone wishing to pursue studies in the Dominican Republic. The Embassy informs Haitians that the visa must be requested from the Dominican Consulate in Haiti or to any designated representations in the applicant’s area of residence.
