Student Daniela Silverio Garcia of Colegio Luis Hess in El Batey, Sosua defeated students from all around the country in the recently held Chemistry Olympics. School principal Miguel Angel Rivera congratulated the 12th grade student, her parents and chemistry teacher Camelia Ferreras. Colegio Luis Hess students have received 11 national awards since 2004.
