Despite 91% of Dominicans eligible to vote saying that President Danilo Medina has done a very good or good job of running the country, almost two thirds of voters (63%) believe crime has not been reduced during his period in government. This perception is up from 50% last year.
A total of 1,014 Dominicans eligible to vote were polled from 12 to 16 May 2015. The poll has a 3% margin of error.
