91% of Dominican voters say that President Danilo Medina’s government has been very good or good, according to the Penn, Shoen & Berland poll published in Hoy today, Monday 1 June 2015. This has increased from 69% a year ago.
At 95%, this perception is even higher among women. Even people describing themselves as opposition party supporters gave Medina an 86% vote for good or very good government.
89% believe that Medina has done a better job than former President Leonel Fernandez. This is up from 85% in 2014.
A total of 1,014 Dominicans able to vote were polled from 12 to 16 May 2015. The poll has a 3% margin of error.
