Final preparations for National Human Rights Plan 2015-2020

The Ministry of Foreign Relations has announced the conclusion of the consultations with 700 non-governmental and civil society organizations for the preparation of the National Human Rights Plan 2015-2020 that will be implemented by the Medina administration this year, as reported in El Dia. On Saturday, 20 June 2015 Foreign Relations Minister Andres Navarro chaired a workshop that focused on documenting feedback on the draft that contained 727 proposals from five regional consultations nationwide in which more than 700 civil society organizations took part. In the draft are chapters on women, children and teenagers, people with special needs, senior citizens, civil and political rights, immigrants, economic, social and cultural rights, work, people trafficking and discrimination.
