34-year old Victor Estrella won his first match competing in the legendary Wimbledon Championship yesterday in London. Estrella played against German Benjamin Becker. Estrella is ranked 48th by ATP, his peak ranking of 45th was reached on 11 May 2015. Meanwhile, 34-year old Becker is ranked 51st
Estrella won in four sets: 5-7, 6-1, 6-4 and 6-4 in a 2:17 hour match.
Estrella will next play 20-year old Swiss, Stanislas Wawrinka, winner of the French Open at Roland Garros last month.
