Starting this Friday, the best Dominican tennis players, including Victor Estrella (ATP ranking 48) and Jose (Bebo) Hernandez (ATP ranking 191) will be leading the Dominican tennis squad that seeks to place the Dominican Republic in the top group of the Davis Cup for the first time. The matches against Ecuador will be played at the Santo Domingo Tennis Club (La Bocha) from 17 to 19 July 2015. Giovanni Lapentti, Emilio Gomez and Gonzalo Escobar of Ecuador are expected to come for the event. The winner will grab a slot to match Colombia’s Santiago Giraldo and Alejandro Falla.
