Sociedad ProArte Latinoamericana presents Pagliacci, the opera by Italian Ruggero Leoncavallo, at the National Theater. The dates are Thursday, 6 August, and Satuday 8 August 2015 at 8:30pm. Tickets are RD$500 to RD$2,700.
The key roles will be sung by Dominican lyrical singers Mario Marinez, Juan Tomas Perez and Edgar Perez. Also performing are Cuban soprano Katia Selva and American baritone Nelson Martinez. The work also has the participation of the Coro Angelicus and the 54 musicians of the Dominican Philharmonic Orchestra. This is production by Carlos Palacios, with scenography by Ivan Miura.
