The airport concessionaire, Aerodom, announced that on Tuesday 11 August 2015, a simulation of an airplane crash at the Las Americas International Airport will occur.
The announcement was made, particularly so that people living near the Airport, would be aware of the drill.
In a press release, Aerodom explained that the simulation will take place from 9am to 11:30am and people will hear sirens and see ambulances and fire trucks in the area around the airport.
