Acento Holding media group announced the start of the airing of AcentoTV on Channel 38 of ClaroTV, and soon on Channel 39 of Telecable Nacional (Tricom). Online viewing is possible through acentotv.do
Acento Holding is the owner of acento.com.do, the popular online news portal. A morning news program will focus on news for Dominican viewers on weekdays at 7am. The program will be hosted by Gustavo Olivo Pena, Karla Pimentel, Jorge Chaljub and Ariel Perez, among others. Journalist Fausto Rosario Adames, who is also editor of the online news portal, is the director of the new TV programming.
