The Dominican Republic is competing in the Tuto Marchand Cup in San Juan, Puerto Rico. The national basketball team members listed on the FIBA website are James Feldeine, Juan Jose Garcia, Francisco Garcia, Edward Santana, Eloy Vargas, Eulis Baez, Victor Liz, Rigoberto Mendoza, Dagoberto Pena, Kelvin Pena, Ronald Ramon, Orlando Sanchez, Edgar Sosa, Angel Suero and Juan Miguel Suero.
15 players are competing from 23-27 August 2015 and the championship will define the 12 who will play in the Pre-Olympic Americas FIBA Olympics qualifier from 31 August to 12 September in Mexico. The team is being coached by Kenny Atkinson, the assistant coach of the Atlanta Hawks.
The first Dominican team game takes place today, Monday, 24 August at 8pm.
Competing teams are Argentina, Brazil, Canada, Puerto Rico and Dominican Republic
