The DREAM Project (Dominican Republic Education and Mentoring Project) announces its Fourth Annual NYC Benefit: Suenos 2015, a fund-raiser to back initiatives for providing high-quality education to more than 6,000 underprivileged young Dominicans and break the cycle of poverty in more than 15 communities throughout the Dominican Republic.
Suenos 2015 will be presented by Latin GRAMMY Award winning singer Henry Santos and Latin GRAMMY nominated singer and Bachata sensation Leslie Grace, who have become Ambassadors of DREAM’s successful programs.
The event will take place at the 40/40 Club in Manhattan on 12 November 2015 from 7pm to 10pm.
This year, The Dream Project will honor Major League Baseball All-Star Robinson Cano for his exceptional work supporting Dominican youth through his RC22 Foundation.
Suenos 2015 will bring together New York’s most prominent philanthropists, celebrities and invited guests, including the critically acclaimed author and Pulitzer Prize winner Junot Diaz, NBA All Star Al Horford and his wife Miss Dominican Republic 2002 and Miss Universe 2003 Amelia Vega, TV and radio personality Carlos Lamarche, UFC’s Alex Garcia, Ariel Pichardo and Kassandra Fernandez, Mr. and Miss Dominican Republic US as well as several cast members from the hit series Orange is the New Black.
