For decades Dominicans have had to get a new birth certificate issued every time the legal document was required. Yesterday, Monday 21 September 2015, Central Electoral Board (JCE) president Roberto Rosario announced via his Twitter account: “The certificates issued by the Central Electoral Board do not expire, if they are still physically legible and in good condition.”
