Presidents Danilo Medina of the Dominican and Michel Martelly of Haiti will meet in Barahona province today, Tuesday 13 October 2015 to discuss issues including the lifting of the ban on 23 Dominican products imposed by Haiti on 1 October 2015.
Presidential spokesman Roberto Rodriguez Marchena said that the meeting was scheduled for 11am. Foreign Minister Andres Navarro, Industry & Commerce Minister Jose del Castillo, Interior and Police Minister Ramon Fadul, Minister of the Presidency Gustavo Montalvo, Customs director Fernando Fernandez and Haitian government officials are also attending the meeting.
