The National Board for Free Zone Exports (CNZFE) has approved permits for nine new companies to set up operations in the Free Zones with the creation of more than 700 jobs, according to the Ministry of Public Works.
CNZFE president and Industry & Commerce Minister Jose Del Castillo Savinon said that these nine new companies would be investing around RD$156.1 million and their new operations would generate around US$4.3 million in foreign currency.
The new companies will be located in the Santiago, Santo Domingo and San Cristobal Free Zones.
