Yesterday, Monday 12 October, President Danilo Medina inaugurated a new primary school, Republica de Cuba, in Villa Consuelo in the National District, built at a cost of RD$26 million.
The school, which will serve 350 students and operate on the extended school day, includes a library and a dining room.
Education Minister Carlos Amarante Baret, Public Works Minister Gonzalo Castillo and school principal Martha Soriano Santana also attended the ceremony.
