Chile’s former Minister of Hacienda (2010-2014) Felipe Larrain is booked for a presentation on Thursday, 29 October 2015 at the Hotel Embassy Suites by Hilton in Santo Domingo. Larrain is a consultant to the World Bank, IMF, IDB, ECLAC and UNDP. He is also an academic, researcher and professor at the University of Harvard and Pontificia Universidad Catolica de Chile. He is the co-author of Macroeconomics in Global Economy with Jeffrey Sachs. Tickets for the conference-breakfast are RD$5,000. The event is organized by the Regional Center for Sustainable Economic Strategies (CREES).
