PRM presidential candidate Luis Abinader met with the Central Electoral Board (JCE) president Roberto Rosario yesterday, Tuesday 13 October 2015 to discuss matters related to the elections such as the restructuring of the electoral courts and the overseas voters registration process.
During the one-hour meeting in Rosario’s office, Abinader promised to help all he could in connection with the elections in May 2016 and confirmed that his party would work to speed up the process of drawing up the list of registered voters abroad.
When asked about the Political Parties Law and the Electoral Rules, he said while they were both important, the priority was the Law of Electoral Rules in order to define essential legal aspects.
