According to the PLD National Electoral Commission chairman, Lidio Cadet, the party primaries will be held on the last weekend in November when candidates for mayor and councilors will be selected for the 2016 elections.
According to Cadet, polls are now being carried out and if any of the incumbents are well positioned to win, they will be the candidate but if not, then primaries will be held.
