Dominican actress Lia Briones is performing a quartet of monologues called “Nostalgia” at Casa de Teatro in Santo Domingo on Thursday, 28 and Friday 29 October 2015 at 8pm.
Earlier this year the monologues were staged at the National Theater’s Sala Ravelo. Briones portrays the stories of four women who discuss issues such as obesity, loneliness, fear of love, and men. She is joined onstage by singer Jiselle Carolina Mota, guitarist Jose Andres Molina and saxophonist David Candelario.
