The Eduardo Leon Jimenes and Sinfonia foundations are holding a concert on Wednesday, 28 October 2015 with performances by two winners of the Van Cliburn Gala classical piano contest. Ukrainian Vadym Kholodenko, who won the gold, and Sean Chen from the US, the Crystal award winner, will be coming to Santo Domingo for a concert at the National Theater’s Carlos Piantini Hall. The two guest pianists will play with the National Symphony Orchestra. This is the fifth Van Cliburn Contest Winners Gala to be held in the DR since 1998. Tickets are for sale at the National Theater box office and at Fundacion Sinfonia.
