Mexican singer Gloria Trevi has included a Santo Domingo date on her El Amor World Tour (Love Tour) on 18 November 2015 at 9pm at Teatro La Fiesta of the Jaragua Renaissance Hotel in Santo Domingo. The second part of the show features “Mister Trevi,” when she dresses as a man to perform songs traditionally sung by men. The set consists of Latin American music standards, including songs by Roberto Carlos and Manuel Alejandro, which were made famous by Raphael, Jose Luis Perales, Yolandita Monge, Camilo Sesto, Fito Paez and other icons of Latin song. She said that these songs have had a great influence on her.
According to the singer, the idea behind her performance as “Mister Trevi” is to show men how women want to be loved and seduced.
