Head for Columbus Park in Santo Domingo’s Colonial City this weekend, 20-22 November 2015 to enjoy a variety of musical, dance and dramatic performances as part of Colonial Fest 2015.
On Friday, 20 November 2015 at 6:30 a concert by Jordi Masalles Latin Jazz at the park, to be followed by the Ballet Alina Abreu at 8:30 pm and Grupo Faena jazz as of 10pm.
On Saturday, 21 November, there will be an exhibition of antique cars as of 5:30 pm, followed by a performance by the Coro Karibe, Ballet Alina Abreu and the MINC Symphonic Orchestra.
On Sunday, 22 November the bells of the Santo Domingo Cathedral will ring at 5:30 pm, followed by a 6:30 pm performance of the National Folkloric Dance Group, and a performance by the National Conservatory’s Big Band Jazz at 10 pm.
Other stages are being set up at the Plaza del Reloj del Sol, the Plaza de Espana and Calle El Conde, and there will be theater performances at Casa de Teatro, Teatro Guloya and Teatro Las Mascaras.
