Christmas has come to the Presidential Palace with the inauguration yesterday evening, Tuesday 24 November 2015 of the decorated Christmas tree in the presence of President Danilo Medina, the First Lady and his three daughters and members of the government.
The tree and the gardens of the Presidential Palace are festooned with Christmas decorations, a Nativity scene, lights and flowers and this year the theme is family unity. The main Christmas tree is 18 feet tall with red, gold, blue, green and silver balls.
