At a press conference yesterday, Wednesday 15 November 2015, Cementos Santo Domingo showed the mining permits it has received from the government, including an exploration permit valid for five years received from the Ministry of Environment in 2013.
The presentation was made after Minister of Energy and Mines Antonio Isa Conde denied the company a mining permit on the grounds that the permit it had been issued was for exploration only.
