At the request of the Dominican government, an Interpol arrest warrant with red alert has been placed for member of the European parliament Aymeric Chauprade, aviation security specialist Christophe Naudin and Pierre Malinowski, known as an aide to the far-right politician Jean-Marie Le Pen, Attorney General Francisco Dominguez Brito told Dominican press on Friday, 27 November 2015. The three men are accused of assisting two French pilots, Pascual Jean Fauret and Bruno Odos, in their escape to France earlier this month. The pilots had been sentenced to 20 years in jail for their complicity in the attempted export of nearly 700 kg of cocaine on board a private plane bound to St. Tropez from Punta Cana International Airport. The pilots were under house arrest awaiting appeal. The French nationals are accused of violating Law 137-03 on illegal trafficking in migrants and people smuggling.
Shortly after arriving home, the French authorities arrested the pilots on charges related to “Air Cocaine,” as the case is known in Europe. Previous shipments by the alleged ring in which the two pilots have participated are being investigated.
