An appeal court in San Pedro de Macoris has decided to postpone the hearing for remand terms for the PRSC mayor of La Romana, Juan Antonio Adames until Wednesday 16 December 2015.
The decision was taken yesterday, Tuesday 1 December 2015 because those who issued the writ had allegedly not been invited to court.
Adames will have been under house arrest for a year and nine months by the time his hearing comes around. He has been accused of acting outside the law in the La Romana local government.
