The Ministry of Culture is organizing the 14th National Crafts Fair (FENART) in time for Christmas gift shopping. This year it takes place from 17-20 December 2015 at the grounds of the Fortaleza Ozama in the Colonial City in Santo Domingo from 9am to 10pm. This year it is dedicated to the craftspeople of the province of Santiago de los Caballeros. The Ministry of Culture has also organized the National Arts & Crafts Award (Premio Nacional de Artesania) for this year. An estimated 225 artisans will be exhibiting their crafts.
