IDB: DR exports to shrink 14% in 2015

In its annual report “Latin America and the Caribbean Trade Trend Estimates 2016,” the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) estimates that Dominicans exports will contract by 14% for the Dominican Republic in 2015 with estimated total exports at US$9 billion. The percentage drop is equal to the average drop reported for Latin America and the Caribbean in general.

The report says that with the exception of El Salvador and Guatemala, exports of all reported countries will decline in 2015.
