The authorities reported that the man accused of shooting 53-year old Antonio Castillo de la Rosa on Tuesday, 15 December 2015 after Castillo’s truck scraped his SUV in Santiago city returned yesterday, Sunday 20 December 2015 and handed himself in to the authorities. The case received special attention given that Castillo de la Rosa was the father of 2014 Miss Universe Dominican Republic, Kimberly Castillo.
As reported, the suspect turned himself into the Cibao Central Regional Command of the Police accompanied by his lawyer Leonardo Acosta. Diario Libre reports that he had fled to Boston but returned to turn himself in.
