With a first game won by the Leones del Escogido over the Tigres del Licey at the Estadio Quisqueya 4-0 in Santo Domingo on Sunday, 27 December 2015, the deciding stretch of the Dominican Winter Baseball Championship has begun. The Round Robin between the four of six qualifying teams n Escogido, Licey, Estrellas, Toros n will continue with daily games through Sunday, 17 January at the Santo Domingo, San Pedro and La Romana stadiums. The exception will be breaks for Thursday 31 December 2015 and Friday, 1 January 2016.
